Professional Development and Education

  • The Registered Housing Specialist (RHS) Seminar is an optional professional certification program for retail salespeople. The material covered in the seminar and the RHS manual is the official study guide for the state license exam.
  • NCMHA provides informative seminars to the members on various issues that occasionally arise, which the NCMHA Board and Committees feel are important and members should be aware of.
  • NCMHA publishes a bi-monthly newsletter filled with industry information from around the state as well as national industry news.
  • NCMHA is committed to continuing education for our members. Periodically, we sponsor schools for various segments of the industry such as the Installation & Set-Up School or the Community Manager Interactive Seminar.
  • NCMHA believes in building relationships between members. We encourage our members to come to our Board of Directors day to meet other members, participate in committee meetings and be involved in decisions regarding our association. We also encourage our members to be active in local chapters.
  • NCMHA provides a membership directory which includes contact information for all of NCMHA's members.
  • NCMHA holds an annual meeting to give members the opportunity to meet and hear national and local industry leaders. The convention also serves as a friendly forum for members to network.
